Not a bad guess actually, we did ask that particular question, but incorrect.
The man in question hasn't been involved in Sydney footy before.Comment

Pekay, I note that you blokes have appointed Don Ollington, seems like a pretty good appointment from the outside, he's been a very good player over the years.Comment

We've been pretty lucky with Bully bringing Donny out last year, and his decision to stay on is a huge bonus for us. Well respected by the players, not just our team but the opposition as well. One of the most consistent players over more than a decade, and will relish the coaching role, so we're in good hands there.

Sounds like a great signing, hope you have a great season first time up in Div 1. Perhaps you won't make quite the same impact as the two recently promoted sides (Mac Uni and Sutherland) but you should be nudging the top 5. Hopefully you can piggy back some of the increased interest in AFL out west combined with the continued development of your junior program.Comment

I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say he'd be the most experienced coach in Sydney, bar those with AFL experience? Good luck with it, at least his story checks out, unlike Currie!

Training numbers apparantly have been terrible, worrying when entering a new competition.
SU have had more numbers at training and dont look to have lost too many>
Compared with Ainslie and Belconnen who have been getting 50-60 to each training, its a large difference.Comment

Their third grade have been left to fend for themselves as well, as all resources will be used in the NEAFL, Prems, D1 & 18s before they get would looked after...so I've been informed.
Happy to be corrected on this by any SHEagles folk.Comment

From 2009 gf, lost a few players, from 2010 gf side lost a few players as well and no doubt 2011 will lose a few. with losing players club still managed to win three on the trot. You will find the club whilst losing players each year filled positions well enough to win three flags in a row. I am sure someone from the club will have stats on players who were in each GF winning side and loses of players each year.
You always lose a few to retirement (have lost a few each year for this reason), some move interstate( for work or family reasons), some move to other clubs ( Dugmore and rumoured other player from this years winning GF team offered scholarships which is in their best benefits to take up and no one begrudges that)
I still stand by my bet... SHE will beat the Lions in ladder position
Balmain will be tough with $$$ thrown out there and building a strong list, just hope all get paid properly.
Around 10 from the premiership side of 2011, plus a number of fringe players.
