That's if we even get to play at all this year! We're on 2nd week of flood watch out here, if the Hawkesbury peaks over 11 metres, Bensons Lane is a good chance to disappear again. I saw a pic on Sydney Uni's website last night, water over the picket fence. Gipps closed for trials tomorrow. Rain forecast for 3 months! Shades of 88/89 for those who were around back then?

Just saw a pic of Uni #1 ground. Looks good. Likely cricket will be on there tomorrow. 7 industrial fans are helping the cause. That's if we even get to play at all this year! Probably a covert overnight operation trucking the water away and dumping at Bensons SwampComment

More logical would be they are playing their cards close to their chest given you would expect at least one or two players from other Sydney clubs to head there and their clearances would show on our site. Mind you the NEAFL site is on the ball given the link to the Eagles is to their old web site.Comment

I notice Seebeck is in the mix. Would be worth a dollar or two on if he was playing fullback. He'd again see plenty of the ball. You can probably find a few names on page 4 of this: http://www.sydneyhillseagles.com.au/...rules_2012.pdf

I think there could be quite a few teams out there that are under-done when the season starts. It's been a bugger of an exercise for a lot of clubs to even find somewhere to train, let alone play. That's if we even get to play at all this year! St George to Balmain Bowen, Sean
Balmain to Southern Power Turner, Daniel
Looks like a couple of "Fringies" undecided about their playing future, gee boys, good luck........persistence & hard work will get you a run in the one's at your home club with people that believe in you, leaving to seek a run in the one's elsewhere will ultimately get you a run in a divisional club. Good choice guys, better choice than going to play next to "kick it to me" Hally though.Comment
