Am I missing something here? The announcement says "This is the first year that NSW and the ACT have combined to play as one side in the biannual carnival". Yet the squad is basically from Sydney, the O&M and the Riverina. Wouldn't there be NEAFL players in the squad if it's meant to represent the ACT?

Of the 11 "Sydneysiders" that the NSW/ACT AFL is trumpeting about, congrats to the 6 "Balmain Boys" who got chosen ... or should that be 5 Western Australians and a Tasmanian??? ... fair effort for a team struggling to cement a spot in the 5 in the SAFL, with all the players they have to chose from!
