Please do, Pekay. I'll second everything you say!
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

    YOU BETCHA!!!!!!

Hey mate how can another junior club work when Kellyville ridge magpies are up and flying less than 2km away and are a feeder club for the ECE.Unless the nswafl redirected all of kellyvilles junior there instead of Bruce purser

Last minute flurry on clearances. Noticed one D killworth, kids must have no morals... Or poor advice... Sad how some repay a club who supported them.

          Why did he leave?

          Was he not happy?

Was he not getting NEAFL opportunities or was he just not good enough for that level, or not committed?

I've never seen him play so wouldn't know.

But, there were similar questions asked of young Timmy Jensen earlier this year when he appeared on Facebook in Cronulla colours. It seemed the young blokes thought he'd killed Bambi but the wiser heads knew he'd served the SHEagles with aplomb on and off the paddock and left with their blessing.

We had a similar thing with some of our young talented cattle leave Bensons for Henson this year. Never easy to lose players, more so at our club because we don't have players knocking on our doors to play. But, if you let them leave with good wishes and don't burn bridges, they may return one day from their higher grades, they may bring mates with them.

          Funny old game we play.

Don't worry Pekay, the Eagles have wished him all the best in his endeavours.

Killworth is still a young bloke and all he wants to do is play senior football at a club and unfortunately he just couldn't break into the NEAFL side. As a midfielder it is hard work getting in front of a few at the Eagles including Dragicevic, Buchanan, Bonney, Garlick, Dimery, Turner, Kruger & Vlatko etc. The depth in the midfield is very strong.

He should do very well at St.George surrounded by some great players in Donohue, Saddington & Ryan to name a few. The smooth talking Mudge has done well to drag him across. We wish him all the best.

Interesting to see an email from a long standing AFL employee telling junior clubs that the feedback from senior clubs has been outstanding with the juniors going to Under 17's next year.

Wonder how many were consulted. Probably not a bad thing if it happens, but really just delaying the inevitable.

Will tonight's ops meeting reveal all? Will the Under 18's cluster teams proposed for 2014 get dusted away? Will there be Under 19's next year?

You would think that the U18 will have to go to U19, other wise they won't have the numbers.
The U16 players due to go up will probably play U17 and the guys in U18 who turn 19 will go onto seniors.
So an U18 team could lose a swag of players to seniors and get no replacements.

                  A new rumour............

Got the hint from a life member at one of our most respected PD clubs, that there might be movement in NEAFL. And that one of our PD clubs is making a pitch to step up a level.

                  What's the buzz ?

I believe that both North Shore and Balmain were interested two years ago, but obvious now that Balmain wouldn't be able to cope.

So I'd have to guess North Shore. But that's only a guess. Only other one (as you mentioned the word "respected") would be Penno.

Probably left from smooth talking mudgy, just hope he remembers all times a lot of people supported him, bought him dinner and how club via its members even flew his mum up to see him win a medal.

Maybe opportunities werent in NEAFL< but still hadnt really proven himself as a top Prem player.

Young kid, so hopefully will learn.

Thats a crack up.... he got a bit better than a few maccas meals and hand outs, and flights for family.

Need to be more than that as there a few people, best on ground good luck a small fry in a big pond there.

Just sayin', they don't offer them anything to play at St George, other than opportunities. Don't know the kid, wish him well, and if you've done the right thing by him, I have no doubt karma will prevail ...

Interested to know if anyone here knows how the investigation from the league is going into the aledged assult of a junior footballer by a club official in front of kevin sheedy and mark tubby taylor the other week

The young bloke has not been able to return to footy and is still some weeeks off

Apparently the official dressed in approriate attire was unable to be identified after the assult after jumping the fence and running towards town via the nearby m4 motorway

Apparently a number of people from junior clubs from western sydney including one now recently defunct are amazed but not suprised buy the inaction
