I was a witness to this gutless and despicable act. The club umpires had lost control of the game and a melee was occurring, but this bloke with a high visibility vest on saying water carrier ran onto the field and punched Moorebank players, 16 and 17 year olds.
He then ran off into the car park, what is going on why haven't the Goanna's found this person and dealt with them.
How cant his be allowed to happen and go unpunished?

Apparently they didnt know who the bloke was although Im lead to believe many our our parents wouldnt have trouble in identifying him.

From the way I am reading this, I assume this incident occurred in the Under 18s match between Parramatta and Moorebank at Gipps Road?

I find it extremely difficult to believe that Parramatta would not be able to identify the person responsible. Extremely difficult to believe.

I hope that Moorebank continues to pursue this matter until the culprit is identified and punished. We don't need grubs like that in Sydney football.

Felix, the petition is around 115 signatures strong at this point in time and many of the old guard are rallying support for the movement! The motion of no confidence was served about a week ago and there is nothing really the committee can do at this point to stop it, which will be a great thing for Sydney Football.

It's a petition relating to an internal issue at Balmain. The petition is online.
There was a thread about it on here, but I deleted it after a request from the Balmain club. It's an issue best dealt with in-house by the current Balmain members; and I'm not interested in being an online mediator on such issues.

I think it is more a football issue, so many on here whilst we bag balmain all know the current guard is destroying that club.. Lets hope more signatures sign up and the football community gets behind this. Sweeping it under carpet would be what current management would want, curtailing to them isnt in the interets, love or hate the club in my opinion.

Well said chatovadafloor.... so many kids looking to come out of junior football do not want to play for Balmain and are then lost to Sydney Football. Sydney Uni have a lot of kids wanting to play there, and you can only fit so many on one list. This is a FOOTBALL problem and everyone needs to get behind this movement by the players and make Balmain a great club again, instead of a disgrace....especially the league themselves! They have got involved with other clubs rightly or wrongly, Balmain is a foundation club in Sydney Football and it needs to be saved!

Merge with Western Suburbs and move to Campbelltown.

                            It's been done before !
