Agreed. If it was me running the process, I would have revoked the Balmain license (which they have the power to do) to participate in the competition until they provide the membership and financial details, and give the license to the playing group who want to run a legitimate football club.

Well they havent given a toss about the destruction Bankstown and the other clubs in the junior competition in South West Sydney so what did you expect.

This thread's run its race, time to close it down.

With this season behind us, there's a lot of work to do behind the scenes at Balmain. There's some serious issues that the club will need to resolve before they can think of lining up for 2014.
I'm going to make a request to you all. Please no more talk about the internal issues at Balmain till at least the end of October. That gives the different factions some clean air and space to resolve their issues without any talk coming in from other angles. In a situation like this, loose lips can sink ships.
Trust me, I'm doing you all a massive favour.
