    Season 2015 Predictions

    Hi all what about some news on the 2015 Season. My information and predictions are

    * Syd Uni - Big improvers - NEAFL recruiting will drop maybe 8 to 10 players from last year back to Prems. (1)
    * Eastcoast not as strong as some believe - will loose nearly 10 from last years NEAFL Squad - Still very strong, but not certainties (2)
    * Wests recruiting big time - picked a few quality footballers from the O&M - (3)
    * Manly still strong, but in addition to those in Melb a couple O'Seas (4)
    * St George - A few high quality players back, not many looses, unfortunately others are getting stronger (5)
    * Penno - lost their 2 best, not a lot of recruits...... unsure, (6)
    * UNSW - ???? No News (7)
    * North Shore - ?? No news (8)
    * Campbelltown - Great Coach, will surprise, but need to increase training numbers (9)
    * UTS - unfortunately will struggle again, playing list good but too many of the boys are too focused on Work, or the Sydney lifestyle (10)

    * Div 1 - Balmain by 10 goals
    * Div 2 - Penrith by 15 goals - shouldn't really be in Div 2
    * Div 3 - Hard call - UTS (No Div 2) or Syd Uni (8 back from NEAFL will push talent down)
    * Div 4 - Manly - a few old guys back for kick and giggles
    * Div 5 - UTS - No idea, but a guess.

    Well if balmain win by ten and Penrith by 15 then Penrith should be promoted to PD.

    If UTS win div three n five they should be kicked out of PD because it will just show they have no interest in having a crack against real opposition and would rather chase lower div silverware.

        Saints will go alright again this year, gutters, nath and sainy back. Couple of losses. A good lot of kids coming up from the 19s premiership side including keely medalist stekky.

        Will be real surprised if the 19s don't go back to back. Some real class players in the side.

          Under 19's team at Macquarie was withdrawn due to not enough numbers, the 5 transfers to Balmain are some of those guys and not seniors.

            Mac Uni's situation is well worth monitoring, these guys may well be the next club to freefall through the divisions.

            Not long ago they had four senior sides plus U18s, last season they were reasonably solid in the ones but were appallingly bad in the ressies. The lack of pathway is a worry and it would appear the tie up with Westbrook is now over.

            Those 5 may be U18 players but they have a number of other outs and very few ins.

              Was interesting to read that former player Brett Harland kicked 16 goals in a trial for them recently....he's a very good player, but does 16 goals in an intra club suggest a dominant player or poor opposition? Would certainly give them a boost were he to return, however one player a team doesn't make.

                Harland would help them for sure but their problems seem a lot more deep seated than that, low numbers at training (terrible I am led to believe) plus a twos team that is terribly weak with 40 and 50 year olds getting games whether they train or not because they are "great club men"

                The firsts are papering over the cracks at the moment but the loss of the underage team is a real blow
