If an incident leads to a yellow card 15 minute send off, shouldn't there be a 50 metre penalty too ?

There is no requirement in the laws when a yellow card is issued that a report or a free kick is mandatory.
Think of the scenario when a player from each side is yellow carded after an incident like a melee. Both teams can't receive a free kick.

A red card must also be a report.
A report can happen with no card at all.

I'll have this week's report up later today. Was in Melbourne yesterday & didn't fly back till late; and by the time I got home to my computer was too buggered to finish it.

Congrats to UTS Div 5 for making the GF. A massive achievement after a tough 2014 when they won Div 4.

You forgot to mention their Div 3 team also making the grand final. Massive bunch of flogs if they think winning either of these is something to be proud of.

I recall the new UTS president mentioning in his prea-season press release that the decision to withdraw the Div 2 team was a really tough decision.
In reality it was the opposite.
Lets hope the new operations team right the wrongs and ensure the UTS teams are correctly back to their rightful grades.

PD, Div 1, Div 2, Div 3 and Div 5 when they re-enter their fourth team.
Anything less would be disrespectful to all the lower grade players and volunteers who put in every week but have to play in a compromised competition which they cant win.

What chances are there of having a fair lower grades comp when the sydney afl helps to compromise prems?

Any word on fowler? Im sure sydney afl will find a way to get him off.

We don't know if he was even reported. It didn't look like it to me.

Striking late, from behind. Worthy of a yellow. Not reported?

                        Attempted striking = 2 weeks.

Not sure. Benbow was reported for the hit on Crisfield that got him the yellow early in the second quarter (happened right in front of me), but I didn't see the notebook go out for Fowler.

Anyway, after a delayed flight last night, a busy day at work when I didn't get as much done during the day as I would have liked, and much procrastination - this week's RWO Wrap of the weekend action is finally now online.

Too windy for bites. A tiny nibble from a former favourite son will suffice. I can't complain, it was a busy weekend.
