Their div 5 teams last 5 games include a W over UNSW, Randwick, Mac Uni, Wollondilly and a loss to North Shore.

Three of those wins against teams that are in the bottom half of the ladder. Wouldn't say they are stacking their D5 team at all.

EDIT: Looking at their fixture but they've got Holroyd Parramatta (who will forfeit most likely) and Campbelltown left, they'll probably sneak into finals there.

Call me cynical, but that's how you'd stop your div 2 side being demoted.

Each year the div 2 side starts off competitive (ish) and then declines and the div 4 side improves as the div 2 side slides. Div 4 finished 4th or 5th last season, then rolled through for a 30 point win in the GF against sides that would beat their div 2 team.

Slightly suss. Just bring the div 2 side down and then see what happens.

Could we see a very strange development in the 3 best, inform, teams in the competition at the moment being UTS, Penno and Manly, all miss finals?

Also has there ever been a more even year in the recent history of the Premier Division?

Looking at the draw, you'd think Penno would get there now at the expense of ECE, but the way things have gone lately - who knows. Great isn't it!!
