I don't understand - is "going all sheep stations" a good or bad thing ?
And is it a good thing or a bad thing for you to be drinking beers on Friday night ?

So, the FUTURE DIRECTIONS report is now up on the website.
Is anyone willing to give us a few bullet points so we don't have to wade through all the new-age lingo ? Is it as per the 20-odd pages of this thread ?

        In all seriousness it is
        1. Return to the SFL / SFA Model
        2. Promote Camden to the Premier Division to have a team in the west
        3. Merge the Senior and Junior administration into a single body
        4. Maximum on 16 on the field for juniors

        The rest is waffle.........

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Masters before the league took it over. It may be the same still, I dunno. My drinking days are over anyway. I'm just terrified of breaking a leg again, 2 in 7 years was enough to deal with.

Totally agree and it was done with them stating everyone was consulted so well when everyone wasnt.

woweeeeee, it's going to be a fun year in the SydneyAFL.

With Prems, Prems Reserves, U19s, Division 2 all premier division clubs, this should be interesting to bring back the old full-day clashes between clubs!

Should make for some rowdy (good) supporting from the lower grades later in the day.

mrns and Pmc2911 - stop living in the past. Players in the lower grades play and go home.

Not that this time of the year means a whole lot, but would have that's a good result for Wests after all the players they've lost.

North Shore beat Penno by about 37 on the weekend. I don't think Penno don't worry too much about this time of the year, but winning beats losing!

Penno won the prem ressies and div 1 games in reasonably tight contests and North Shore won the 19's.

                        Great to see some footy!!

                              St George beat Manly 8.9 57 - 8.5 53
Big win in reserves, probably 10 goals to 1 in 15/12 minute quarters.
19s ours were up by heaps, Manly probably won the second half. Not sure on the final score.
