    2005 - Goss

KV are off to Port Macquarie this weekend for a 4 team round robin tournament. BDAFL club, Warners Bay will also compete.
KV v Penrith: KV went in with a couple of recruits to speak of. Not sure if any will travel up the highway for the weekend.

DLH might agree, that although the result could be questioned if the lads in the scoreboard had issues, first practice game of '05 should be about getting a touch and impressing coaching staff. I don't think the result is super important.

Agreed Nedra, although when you've had as few a wins as we've had over the last couple of years, you take what you can get!!

Penrith are off to Gosford this weekend so I'm guessing that will be another good hit out. Then it's down to Yass for their Round Robin. I think 8 teams are involved this year so it should be worthwhile.

Nedra is it true that the goalscoring freak that KV have picked up from Sydney has actually told the club that he is a backman?
Also is he likely to strap on the boots in a practice match or is he saving himself for Rnd 1?

From what I have heard from the ECE's new Senior Coach the BDAFL is in for a real treat when this guy finally struts his stuff up that way.

Hardly "goal scoring freak" Jacks !!
I had a frothie with that guy over the weekend and as far as I can tell, he hasn't told KV much at all. He was quoted saying the " one week and a time and where ever the team needs me " rubbish.

He's playing at the weekend and will be available for Rd 1 against the Newcastle boys, if selected.

Any news on how the new coach at ECE is heading ??
I've noticed the clubs been promoting the players, but how's the vibe around with him ??
