Looking for one more practice match Shearer... 2nd or 3rd of April?
Played Cardiff 18's last weekend and won by 100 points. We only had 13 and they gave us 3 players. Played a man down all day and won well. Cardiff won the 18's comp up there last year....
I can tell you there is a big gap between BDFL Under 18's and SAFL Under 18's!!!!
East Coast 18's this weekend....

All's i'll say is it was VERY obvious that your guys had been training longer that he 3 sessions he majority of our guys had done!
The Penno guys are a well drilled side with a very good midfield and a good FF.
I was pretty happy considering that we had 4 guys out there playing their first ever game of aussie rules & another 4 coming out of last years 16's side.
We were missing some of our more talented players and taking out 6 first grade standard players from last years team (including a 100 goal CHF who played in the penno team), its fair to say we aren't quite up to last years standard.Last edited by Northern_Swan; 10 March 2005, 10:22 PM.Comment

If you are strictly speaking about the 3 quarters played best v best, penno got up by about 2 goals.
Their guys towled us up in the first three, but christ i played just about all of that (first kick in...well since last years trial against penno!!!!!).
