    Leading goalkickers?

Are these maintained on the Sydney AFL website at all these days? I would love to see who is winning the battle - I am certain that the sportal system they are using would be able to spit it out pretty easily.

I guess it is one of the things that we miss about the local Sydney footy record .... will we ever get a printed version again at the grounds??

Layne Spencer would have to be a certain leader wouldnt he?
    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

It took a little effort for me to work out how to get the goalkickers list. Go to www.sydneyafl.com.au. Go to 'results' from the left hand index list. In the blue rectangle box choose 'competition stats'. Change the 'sort by' options to 'total goals' and ensure it is in descending order to get the leading kickers. Hit 'view'.This list can be derived when looking at other pages such as game results but it this way will give you the list in descending order. I hope this helps.

At the moment they don't have the money to produce one; but definately I miss it.
The PDF version at the moment needs a bit of work to get it right - I'm doing a preview column in the middle of it, but the team lists every week still are based on the round 2 matchups; and for a couple of rounds I couldn't get the covers to download properly.
It's better than nothing, but I'd like to see a bit of a revamp for the footy record, which would have some better stats like the goalkickers list and have the full season's fixtures. I've been at games this season where people have asked "when do we play ..." and no-one had any idea.

            How old's Jaret Hogarth?
Could have sworn he kicked 100 goals in 1983.

I used to love the goal kickers list in the record with the big grid at the back that told you how many goals people had kicked round by round. Looked forward to it every week.

long gone are those days Rod,that was when Sydney footy was a big happy family, now we're all divorced or de facto and some just neglected...FYI-Div2 Goals led by Luke Ayling NorWest Jets on 29..PS-Jaret Hogarth is one of the reasons why i became a full back..him and Manny Lynch.used to kick super bags every week-- and i cant kick straight so it was the logical choice!
