Rumour has it that East Sydney are offering money to St George U/18 players. As I said only a rumour. Can anyone shed any light on this accusation???

Thats the first i have heard of it Old Man but that is very disappointing if they were.

Our young blokes are good kids though and i doubt they would take up any offers IF they had been made.

I'd be surprised if any club had money to throw at U18s players. It'd be very unlikely to be UNSW-ES doing it, they don't field an U18s team.

[Moderator's note to everyone - be careful when posting rumours. If you don't have anything to back them up, then please state that it is just a rumour.
Old Man has done that, so at this stage I'm OK to let the thread stand. But please be careful - it's easy to be emotional and let damaging rumours circulate, but that damages the credibility of this board, which provides an important service to local footy.
No-one's done anything wrong yet, please keep it that way. I'll be watching this thread closely.

Old Man, do you mean UNSW-ES (I assume so, given that East Sydney have no U/18s)?

It doesn't make much sense to me. If it were true it would be a slap in the face for the number of senior Bulldogs players that are not being paid this year and are performing.
