No worries, I was starting to wonder? Without even being at the game, surely no one can honestly believe that the game was never in doubt by simply looking at the scores.

Of course the scores don't suggest that, so i'll be looking forward to watching Fox footy on Friday nite.
I'm struggling to comprehend your post billy...

Do you not think that losing a player in the first minute of the match will impact your game... especially if that player is a former AFL player who is currently sitting 2nd on the goalkicking ladder (behind the player at the other end of the ground, Spencer) and is the eagles leading goalkicker. And considering that the final margin was 5 points, I think the eagles are justified in suggesting that the loss of Trask was the difference.

As for penno never looking in doubt, I think that if any team is behind with 2 minutes to go, they can be considered to be in doubt. Well done to Penno in the end, surely they will be looking at the eagles/wests game this week to get an idea of where they stand in the premiership race.

We do agree on one thing, I will be looking forward to watching the game on fox this friday night.

I admit lensman that i didn't catch the game first hand... But was merely passing on that which was reported to me. As i said the scores don't appear to agree with those reports. I do stand by my comments on trask though.. He is a key part of the eagles line up, but from memory penno got through some tough games this year without spencer. I'm not saying that the loss of a key forward is trivial, quite the opposite, but it should never be the determining factor. East coast claim to have good depth, surely they have someone who can step up now??? It will be interesting to see.

Arbon may get the job,but does he have the presence? Also i heard via ECE website that Chapman-consequently named BOG- was the replacement FF on the weekend. Think they'll give him a go at the vacant spearhead job?
