AIS-AFL NSW Nominees

The 2005/06 AIS-AFL Academy nominees have been announced three NSW/ACT players are in the squad of 30 elite players which includes 21 players from the U16's Championships:

NSW/ACT ? Craig Bird (Nelson Bay), Tom Hawkins (Finley/Melbourne Grammar), Tim McIntyre (Corowa)

Tim McIntyre is a gun.
Last year he was Ovens and Murray Schoolboys captain of the Victorian Championships winning team and won All Australian selection.
At 14 and as a bottom age player in the under 15s.
On the weekend, McIntyre, now 15 and in the under 16 Murray Bushrangers, was named as second best player on the ground in just his fourth Ovens and Murray senior match for Corowa-Rutherglen, against the second placed team in Wangaratta.
One to keep an eye on.
