    Your right on the money. But most people is Sydney are to self/club absorbed to admit it.

      IMO the key problem is quality coaching. From the Junior ranks right through to premier div. No disrespect intended to any individuals. But as a rule players here are taught the skills and trained to good fitness levels BUT are just not taught the game.

      This is a criticism. And cricising is easy i agree. Solutions are harder to find. I don't claim to have the answer.

        Perhaps a (very) simplistic answer to this would be re-introducing the RAMS to the TAC Cup.
        But that argument has been discussed many a time on this forum before now.
        If the AFL are serious about the NSW/ACT market they will need to find the money- it's that simple.

          Bingo northern swan. You are absolutely on the money there. TAC CUP footy is the only way to gain respect for players from NSW. The problem will now be convincing Football Victoriathey are good enough to be admitted...
