    Dale Lewis Gawwwn!

    FORMER Sydney Swans star Dale Lewis has quit as coach of South Australian National Football League side Norwood.

      Thanks for ruining my freakin' day. Just when it seemed we were on the up-and-up (9-11 and just missing the finals in Lewie's first year this year, after going 4-16 and finishing bottom for the first time in 35 years in 2004).

      Norwood's motto is "fortis in procella" (strength in adversity), and they've had no shortage of procella recently.

      Still, at least the Legs have won 5 flags in my lifetime, which is a few up on the Swans.

          Hey just a question!

          Did Dale ever get a formal farewell from the club?

          I recall his comments about the # of players that use drugs and the League / club having a go in the media.

          My understanding is that he jumped in his car and drove away? Can anyone clarify

          PS it seems that you can only have one job in SA at a time! (100% footy club or the Radio station......)
