Lions take on Gehrig as Unruliness Coach

SEVERAL Brisbane Lions and the AFL's Coleman medallist were turned away by Customs officials at Bangkok International Airport early on Tuesday morning following complaints on a flight from Sydney to Thailand.

Lions vice-captain Justin Leppitsch, assistant coach Craig Lambert, forward Jonathan Brown, midfielder Tim Notting, St Kilda forward Fraser Gehrig and former Lion Steven Lawrence were among those refused entry at Bangkok.

BTW, this line of bull is a touch disingenuous from the Lions:

Brisbane chief executive Michael Bowers said it was not an issue for the Lions as it was not a club-organised trip.

"It's a group of individuals touring overseas," Mr Bowers said. "They are members of the public on holidays. It's not a concern for the club."
So I guess players lurking in the shrubbery in Adelaide should not have been an issue either? Players urinating on passers-by? Players being involved in shootings? Please! Your players represent your club even if it is the off-season.

        Exactly,

Bowers is a solicitor who always hides behind the law if not is acting on behalf of the law. It is rediculous to sweep this issue under the bed under the precidence he mentioned, incompetence, but if that is the way the Lions handle things, that is their own stupid fault.

They are still being payed by the Lions so therefore they should be disciplined as they are tarnishing the quality of members that form the club he sees over.

I already had the opinion that just about everyone involved in the Lions is a **********head, this helps prove it.
