My favourite AFL commentator is....Blighty

Blighty's best game was.....Rnd 3 Swans vs Lions because of
1. The 3 goal rule - I have used this to consistently comfort myself when we are 20 points down
2. "Woops woops woops" - brilliant and insightful.

The man is a genius!

Other favourites: "I always like the front-runner - Cats for mine" at 3/4 time in the QF

I have to agree with singaporeswan...I reckon Blighty is pretty good. His insight is second to none...and yes I love the "three goal rule", it makes perfect sense.

I don't mind Dermie either...again because of his insight...just picking up things that happen that so many of the other commentators miss. I know I'm going to cop crap for that...but this is only MHO.

remember on 7 when he was a commentator and not just special comments. I was close to getting the razor blades out !

Dennis Cometti for delivery, passion for the game and its traditions, and a respectable amount of knowledge (former player and coach of some note), and he's not a Melbournian.

Lou Richards for all the laughs on channel 7 through the 70s and 80s.

The whole Sydney MMM commentary team this year were great. Congrats to Luffy and the guys. Keka is hilarious when he gets fired up. I hope that MMM continue to be so dedicated to the Swans next year and into the future. It was a huge gamble for MMM to call every game this year (and I'm sure they were getting a bit worried after the first 6 rounds), but their commitment paid off in a big way.
