Like most memos, probably went straight into the circular in-tray.

They rearranged the leap year extra day because of a scheduling conflict.

I actually think we have a better team this year. All of the players are one year older, the younger ones will put even more pressure on, there is no umming and ahhing over Nicks, Maxwell or Schauble (who quite frankly, just couldn't cut it anymore due to injuries and age), and Barry Hall CAN SEE!!

With all that said, I was always of the opinion that THIS would be the year we'd win the flag. Last year was meant to be the close GF loss, and this year the emphatic win. Hopefully against the Saints.

Now that we have a premiership, the only question is what that does to the mentality of the team. Do they relax and do the swagger - a la Schneider and Goodes 2004 - or do they just pick up where they left off.

If they play for the whole season like they did in the second half of last year - with or without some injuries along the way - then they have the ability, scoring power and depth to bring home another flag.

                        C.
