    Kennett states the obvious

I know we have discussed the possible future shape of the AFL, but I think Jeff is stating the obvious here
"The reality is that it's probably unsustainable in five or 10 years," he said in his maiden speech to Hawks members at the club's annual general meeting.
When is the fat controller going to listen to common sense and see that Melb can't sustain the 9 clubs that are nased here.

Are some of the "experiments" with clubs playing home games in other states/cities really just experiments. Or is the this some covert way of Demetriou getting clubs to eecide for themselves that they won't be able to survive unless they move out of Victoria? Let's face it, our clubs success this year could be the impetous for 1 or 2 clubs to very seriously consider relocating, because it does work

He's right of course, it's a tough ask for maintain the clubs. Such a sensitive issue for the fans tho' in AFL heartland.

      Where would you start?

I laughed at Jeff saying he'll be seen and not heard - believe that when I see it!

I say stuff 'em...they all voted to send my team to Sydney...so I have no sympathy for any of them

But the Kangaroos, Bulldogs and possibly Richmond would possibly be the first ones to move or die IMO

Actually it is Jeff who was doing the bashing .. just ask the ex-wife.

Jeff and Felicity are still married aren't they? Or they were last time I heard, they separated for a few months in 1998 or 1999 but got back together and worked things out.

                I love Jeff Kennett.

Does his involvement with a mental health organisation have something to do with his running of the Hawthorn Football Club?

Hawks fans must be very depressed with the way their club has performed in the past few seasons!
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!
