    Brabazon, Laidlaw & Thornton

Our new draft picks look OK to Half time

    Laidlaw (22) has some dash

Thornton (27) is a goer as well

Pity that Spriggs still is freaken clourblind and kicks it to the opposition

What's the deal with most of the new recruits having bleached blond hair? They all look like they've come from the same bloodline.

There was one passage of play when Thornton who was in the back pocket kicked it out wide to LRT. I swear i thought i was seeing Thornton kick it to Thornton. They look so alike.

Bit harsh picking on Spriggs, there were plenty of players who kicked straight to the opposition. Jude did an absolute shocker in the last quarter.

I thought it was almost the difference in the sides. We gave them so many "free touches" it wasn't funny.

Noticed that a lot of the young players wanted to chip the footy rather than kick through it, hence the ball landed a metre in front of players on many occasions. Under 18 footy to me.

Observation, and I know it was only a practice match, but Malceski has to be a lot harder at the footy.

I saw that, I thought it was LRT both times... They even run the same.

I was thinking they were all relatives of famous Colombian futbol player Carlos Valderrama.

Other that that they were applying for 'mane roles' in the Lion King.

The goal he kicked wasn't too bad either.

                    Yep, GoSwannie14.

That goal was awesome and even the commentators made a point of talking about at the break, Dermie was talking it up a fair bit.

Of the 3, Laidlaw looks the most likely to play senior football this year. Much stronger in the body in relation to the other two and has some speed as well.

Saying that both Thorton & the bloke who starts with B both looked capable.

Moore looks much fitter and should be able to force his way into the side. I also like Vogels down back as well, he has the strength to go one on one with the stronger body types.
