I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Not sure if you are taking the piss, but if a player comes to the club on the recommendation of a TOTC member, I'm prepared to cut him a bit of slack.

I'll join you on that bandwagon.

The main attraction is comfortable seating.

My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"

He still has the clanger of the year award for 2005 in my books. Watch the Round 3 clash against Brisbane, and his amazing 2 metre kick at complete right angles to the direction he was aiming straight into the arms of a Brisbane player going in the opposite direction....

Stuff like that gives me much amusement at years end... well when we win the premiership that year.

Haven't seen Spriggsy hit a target yet.

Saw him get mown down on Saturday too "carefully weighing up his options"!

Is the most unimpressive exponent of AFL skill I have ever seen at the Swans and that includes Bomford, Mott and O'Connor OUCH!

                    Rubbish.

He has hit plenty of targets. Just not many wearing red and white.

Mott had one skill though. Being able to knock out a team mate with his big lumpy kick.

The other problem with Sprigg's kicking is that when he tries for depth what he gets is a floater that make the defends life so much easier.

"However, with the various rule changes and interpretations aimed at speeding up the game, Spriggs may play an important role this year given his pace and stamina."

Sounds like one more argument against the new rules to me!

He actually hit a few targets wearing red and white on the weekend, as he did in the Essendon game before that.

This is the greatest clanger since Stynes in the '87 preliminary final.
