Any news on this guy? Is his career going nowhere, or another player cruelled by injuries?

That's funny because there are some out there that had the Gerard Bennet bandwagon all to themselves.Originally posted by Sanecow
It will only be an issue if they get a game.
These people skulk in dark corners now too ashamed to show their faces.
You'd think this kid would have shown something by now (at least bulked up)?
Has he just dropped from the face of the earth? You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

How recent was that injury list?
Didnt Earl Shaw (#41??) play on the weekend? And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

Don't want to put any pressure on the dude, but: has to get fit and start showing stuff on the park in Canberra by July, or he's gone. Unless all of Wall, Currie, Rowe and Barlow fail to show anything in 2006; which on early indications, seems unlikely.
In a gentle, kind, loving way: I'd give him about a 20% chance of him being with us next year. Nasty, I know, but a system that requires a team to turn over 3 players a year (and on average, more like 5) wasn't designed to be nice.
Or to put it another way: if this bandwagon does ultimately arrive at the station, you'll earn more kudos than all of those hundreds of people (not) who were saying at the end of 2003, 'Don't dream of delisting Bucky-- he's gunna be a star'.Comment
