Gotta say, didn't impress me on Saturday. Like all the forwards, he suffered from some appalling delivery, but didn't seem to have the ticker of either the incumbents or some of the other challengers (Richards & Vogel in particular).

giant you surprise me,didn't think anyone agreed with me about grundy.i said in oct that we kept the wrong rookie, campbell was a much better prospect.
still predicting that grundy will NEVER be a senior player.
if he does i'll cop the abuse, but i am rarely wrong with my assessment of players

We couldn't have kept Campbell as a rookie regardless of whether it was a choice between Grundy or not.

Heath is only 19. Leo Barry was about 25 before doing anything much except glimpses. One game in which he got terrible, infrequent delivery does not tell you everything.

Grundy didn't impress me either, but I still have a lot of hope for him. He looks like a smart footballer and his frequent best on ground efforts for Canberra suggest he knows what to do, adjusting to AFL takes time, again see Leo Barry.

But at least you're not big-noting yourself. Care to share some hits & memories of your great forecasts from yesteryear?

So you identify him as a dud at the time he was drafted . . . . . . . or after he broke down with injuries for the 40th time?

I disagree with this. I very much doubt we would have Barry Hall if Fitzy stayed injury free. The man was a freak when he got going. Just a great one grab player who had a great goal sense and consistently got us 2-3 goals a game when he wasn't in the stands.

about 2 appearances,no footy brains, created most of his own injuries with reckless efforts.
gone on to much more suitable occupation now, gets paid for being a goose
