And the free kick against Leo in the QF isn't in your list? Or have you merely blocked that from your memory as a coping mechanism?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Yes I am biased, but I simply cannot believe that week-in week-out we have the team that infringes more than any other... every time.

The two excuses I have heard so far is that:
            1. Teams that are first to the ball will always get the frees awarded to them. This would indicate the weakest teams in the comp would have a high free count. This works for everyone but the frigging Premiers! Obviously for us being first to the ball just meant an increased chance of a free for HTB rather than ITB etc.
            2. We go at it harder than most teams, and therefore give away more frees. Yet (correct me if I am wrong) we were one of best, if not the best, at keeping a clean sheet. Two reports all year. For just three weeks suspension (one waived). Hardly like we are too aggressive.

It's simply a case of us having pissed off the umpires in some way. The ridiculous free count at half time in the PF and those ludicrous decisions that cost us the game two weeks earlier were clear examples.

The only reason the GF was umpired so well, was that the umpires finally put the whistle away and let the game be played the way it was meant to be. Lo and behold, not one HTB or ITB free all day!

that's what we (sis and I) also complain about. Free's both ways for the same thing is fair enough. All we ask is consistency!
