I am a huge fan of McLeods....

I'm sure McLeod is doing Contracts by Akermanis 101 but it's a bit sad if you are too old by 30 and have been a club stalwart, almost singlehandedly won your club two premierships to secure yourself a long term contract to play over 30.

Is this where the game is going - that clubs will have a policy on player contracts over 30?

Would love to see him red and white. Wish the crows had messed up his letter a la Michael O'Loughlin.....back in 95

Ridiculous scenario - he's had good run with injuries over the years & is still playing great footy - he could certainly play another 5 years.

To be fair to the Crows, there was a suggestion that the AFL were carefully scrutinising player contracts for the over 30s after a few debacles in the past. Can't help but think some clubs use this to their benefit tho.
