    Calling All Swans Fans In Vic

    Have you ever wanted to be on TV showing your passion for the Red & White?

    The AFL will be shooting a television commercial for the launch of the 2006 AFL Season and they need our Members in it!

    When: Wednesday 8 March
    Time: Approximately 2.30pm - 6.30pm
    Where: Optus Oval

    Approximately 30 people are required to dress up in their Swans footy clothes and a situation will be set up with Swans Supporters screaming and cheering on the Swans.
    You will need to wear you Swans clothes however they will also have a 'rain machine' and therefore you could possibly get wet!!! This is to show the dedication of our Supporters in all conditions!

                  This was the second request put out from the Melb office and all spots were filled by midday.

                      We responded to a request like this a few years ago. It was at Telstra Dome for a full day one weekend. We had to scream and wave flags and beat drums. We had to walk across the oval with opposition supporters jeering at us out of car windows and do all kinds of other crazy stuff.
                      And nothing from that day ever made it to that TV!

                                          How ironic they allowed this in an add yet the AFL Cheer Squads League in their intimate wisdom decided to fine the club for me having the temerity to use my drum in the MA Noble at matches.

                                          A complete double standard there, once again.
