    Swans fan in the USA

After countless searching I finally found this website. I am a Swans fan in the USA and am glad to be here on this board. Unfortunately I don't get many games on TV here so if possible please point me in the right direction to get the games online.

Glad to be here and Go Swans!

Not sure about video streaming, but on AFL.com.au you can get radio coverage and instant score updates for all matches being played during the season. Hope that helps

        Hi Mike,

I am in HK and we have Asia Pacific TV which shows many of the swans games. But they don't show them all, and being a tragic, I signed up for AFL online which shows all the games with about a 24 hour delay. Thoroughly recommend it.

        Here is the link...

Fellow seppo here. If you have cable, there's Fox Soccer Channel that shows Friday Night Football (on Thursday, since - for amurkins - Australia lives in the fuuuuture) and has a shorter weekly AFL highlights show as well.

I'm not sure if the recent renegotiation of broadcast rights in Australia will affect it though. I hope not, since I upgraded my entire cable package just to get that one stupid channel.

                  Mike,

Try www3AW.com.au our premier radio station for footy in Melbourne.

You may not always get our Melbourne games but will enjoy the best of footy broadcasting with REX and the boys almost all weekend our time.

Also Sport Today Monday to Thursday 6-8.00pm our time is almost all wall to wall footy talk and talk back.

Try also www.SEN.com.au the sports radio station who it is rumoured the AFL is going to buy. Don't have broadcasts but have so much footy talk all day, it is a must to listen. My brother in Law, expat Melbournian who lives in Coffs Harbour NSW listens in regularly.

Look forward to your posts during the season.

                  Cheers

                  Nico

Personally I vastly prefer the ABC calls (with Gerard Whately, Drew Morphett, Tim Lane and Jarrod Malloy). Don't know if they stream...think they do. Try www.abc.net.au

                      Good luck.

Also looking for calls of Sydney matches with Sydney biased commentators you can always go to 2MMM Sydney.

Gotta agree with you there, ABC commentary is far superior to 3AW IMO.

Personally I cannot stand Tim Lane or ABC.

How channel ten ever puts Lane ahead of Huson I will never know.

In all our finals Tim Lane's bias against Sydney (I can reme, ber on talking footy when he basicially said to Wayne Jackson the AFL cheat to help Sydney) always comes out.

He is unprofessional in my opinion. Compare that to Hudson's commentary of the Geelong final, you would never have known that Hudson is a manic Geelong supporter from his commentary.

ABC is hopelessly biased, MMM or 3AW suite me

                              Reggi,

Agree entirely. Lane has hated Sydney for years.

The good thing about Carlton's dilemma is that Lane barracks for them.
