THere were plenty of really bad games in the 70's but a lot were down to muddy grounds, and a lot included StKilda...nothing has changed.

Yeh, but that game was so bad it was funny - the Saints game was excruciating.

One of my all time favourite post-match conference quotes came from the Freo game - someone asked Rocket if he thought the first qr was the worst qr of AFL ever - he replied: "No. The first HALF was the worst half of AFL ever."
