I couldn't make it but am interested to know if anything interesting happened. Anything to report?
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

So all this agitation for involvement of members and no one goes?

These are the fallbacks of not having a diary I guess.

I had a bad day at work and kinda forgot it was on, again.

I am sure Paul Kelly made sure that the members' interests were considered in the decisions that were made.

As opposed to the self-interest of most of the wannabes and jersey tuggers who he left in his wake ?

I went. I was close by and had a bit of time to kill. There wouldn't have been more than 40 members there, but it was a really interesting evening. I'd certainly go again next year.

That might not sound like a lot, but it's not bad for the first AGM in, what, 20 years? The Vic clubs usually only get a couple of hundred die-hards... even the big meetings in which boards are toppled and mergers are argued rarely need venues larger than suburban town halls. It will take time to build a participatory club culture.

How did the club advise the members that the meeting was on?
It doesn't appear to be in the last Swans News and I didn't notice it on the website.
