Originally posted by Missy I still haven't got my membership card yet. Look's like I'll be paying at Newcastle on Saturday.
As a general rule the club mails them out as late as possible to help build the suspence.
Lucky that they got rid of that dodgy card company last year that caused the delay so we'd all get them early this year
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Originally posted by Pommie Swannie It would be interesting to see the change in memberships between Rd 1 2005 and 2006. What effect does winning a premiership have on Sydneysiders?
It'll probably be up although I do know two people who have jumped off the bandwagon and aren't renewing this season.
The Swans make it easy to renew as is or upgrade but don't make it easy when one wishes to downgrade to povo student!
Originally posted by mocaholic Dunno bout you Claret but I had to pay for my GF ticket OUTSIDE my normal Swans membership...it's about $400 odd now, hmmm Scott?
Sorry Mocaholic, I was just trying to add some optimism/patriotism to the thread.
I'll be sure to include a disclaimer/explanation next time for your benefit.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Our entire membership last year was 24955. Its already at 25,000 for this year, which I think is about 4-5k ahead of last year. That means we are on track to hit the 30,000 mark for 2006.
Originally posted by hammo Not sure if 32k is realistic. I think a cap kicks in somewhere along the line to ensure a certain number of GA seating is available at the SCG and also SCG members.
AFAIK the "cap" only applies to "full non-reserved" members (members reserve access - Noble and Ladies stands). Obviously there is also a limit on reserved seats.

GF Ticket $160.
Getting up at 4am and grabbing a great seat to see the Swans winning the GF............PRICELESS!!

When you consider the Melb goal is 10,000 surely 32,000 total members isn't unrealistic.

S'okay.
I'm just a little too obsessive for my own good.

Each Melbourne member is only half as important as each Sydney member, so 27k.

Poor example.
