    Fosdike to be rested

    Link

"Sean Dempster was due to play this weekend but has suffered a minor hamstring twinge early this week - his first ever - and given its high rate of reoccurrence in the AFL the medical staff will err on the side of caution and give him extra time to recover. "
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"

In the 80's or early 90's any concussion meant you were automatically rested for a week. It was enforced by the league.

It would be good to see Tadgh back for Round 2 - The Unfurling.

I recall similar sentiments being expressed around here at this stage of the 2005 season...

Did anyone sensible and rational actually think we were well-placed and travelling nicely in the first half of the season...?

No but some of us had hope. Some others were looking towards how many we would need to cut from the list at the end of the year...

Some have realistic outlooks based on what is actually happening.
                        Most have hope.
