You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Well I am tipping a Adelaide v Sydney GF, but I would still like to see Geelong make it there instead of Adelaide.

Bazza has to be a huge possibility for the Coleman IF:
    1. His improved eyesight makes as big a difference to his marking as it 'should'
    2. He stops being such a 'team player' and goes for a bit of personal glory
    3. He doesn't get suspended
    4. Lloyd suffers the yips from the new 'hurry up' rule

Journalists are one thing, who cares what they think, but to have the oppositions captains under-rating us is a wonderfull advantage to ge given.

There are three opposition captains who don't think we'll make the final 8.

My guess: Lloyd, Buckley & Johnson.

Let's just assume it's them & make them pay when we play them.

for the West Coast & Saints captain: bitter.
for the rest of the 13 captains (esp the vic teams): denial.

ps: are they attempting to make Barry look like a metro model in that article's photo?

I am not surprised. Well, actually I am but you come to expect these things as a Swans supporter.

The more people that rate St Kilda the more they can only fail to live up to expectations again. And that's a good thing.

I think Sydney and Adelaide are good bets to be right in the mix at the end.

interesting that Jared Moore got two votes for the rising star, Barry would have been one, but it surprises me that there is another captain that voted for Moore ahead of one of their own youngsters or Marc Murphy/Mitch Clark. I didn't think he was that well known, how has his pre-season been going and what are our expectations of him?

Ross Lyon said that "Jarred Moore has had a super pre-season and at the minute it is not translating into the form we would like and he would like, but in saying that there is still a couple weeks to go."
Which I hought was odd because he looked very good at North Sydney and Canberra, perhaps his forms declining?

From what i saw, he was always starting off matches and quarters on the bench so i still think there is a fitness issue there. Form wise, from the limited time he had on i thought he was very influencial.

                        hey,

i'm a vic-based swans fan. on the subject of jared moore, well, i was at the practice game essendon v. swans at princes park a few weeks ago, and i expected a little more (no pun intended, seriously!) from Moore. its not that he was bad; he just wasn't great, and he's due for a noteworthy debut this year, i reckon. he got a few disposals, was hard at the ball, all of which you can't fault, but i'm not surprised to read lyon's comments on his preseason thus far, it echoed what i thought!

anyways, thats just my 2 cents worth.
