Other comments of note...

Somewhere in Kirky's speech on different families having different modes of traditional dress he referred to loin cloths as an example.

When the MC came back on he informed "the ladies present" that during the interval Jude Bolton would be modelling the Swans team loin cloth out in the foyer. (I didn't go out to check!!)

Roosey opened his speech by saying that he's been asked many times how confident he was that the Swans were going to win the GF. His response was along the lines of 'I was totally confident, absolutely positive we were going to win...right from the moment Leo Barry took that mark and the final siren went I was absolutely sure we were going to win...'

On a more serious note he addressed how the club focusses on maintaining its standards and how they are going to address the chances of a hangover. He listed three main things they do but I can only remember the first two. They were:

- they make sure that everyone at the club truly understands why the club wins games

- they make sure that all the players understand what they have to do to earn respect from their fellow players and what will lose them that respect. If they lose that respect the club will do what it can to help the player get back in line and regain respect but if they don't respond they will be cut from the list.
