I think ROK's post was spot on. Taking the Pisz out of a nonsense thread.

Move on folks WE WON THE BLOODY FLAG. How many countless times does a player so called lose his man in any given game. Davis won the game for us, Kirky got his kudos for his 3q time Bloods inspirational speech in the PF and the rest is history.
Lighten up Nico. Where's your sense of humour? Lifes to short to take it seriously all of the time...what else is there to talk about? Maybe we should have some threads about the weather, that's surely not going to upset anyone.

      Exactly right.
Who gives a flying fire truck about what sparked Davo and whether Kirky was after the right bloke.
At the end of the day, we won the game, we won the flag, Davo was a hero on that night, LRT was a hero in the GF - ALL 23 players to line up in the finals did their job to secure the greatest result of all time. (In 72 years anyway).

Hasn't Melbourne's weather been unbelievably good for the Commonwealth games? 32 dgree days in late March is amazing - a bit of a worry though.

Hey who deleted the threads??? I'd better not add my "LOL" I got into trouble the last time I used it!

but for the record - I think I sat behind LRT's Aunty at the GF - she gave me a gob full after I commented that he had made an error (yeah well its nicer than saying he buggered up) very early in the first quarter. He thankfully went and played on really well - that didnt stop Aunty Jean - in the end I just put my hand up and told her to talk to that - the head wants listening. (gotta hope that I dont run into her in the MA Noble this year - she was a very scary woman!)

However - lets be honest here - if it wasnt for Nick doing the impossible in the Geelong game, whether is was from Kirks prompting or not - with out NIcky D and his amazing 4 goals - none of us would have witnessed the Swans win the flag in 2005.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Not deleted - just moved to a place where that particularly insightful discussion can be continued in depth.

No, it's been shocking. 32 degrees in late March is simply horrible. When will this bloody heat end? We've just sweltered through three months of not being able to do anything outside without dying of sunstroke. It's supposed to be 22 FFS.
