    A Sad State of Affairs

Well after opening my 2006 membership package and checking out the members medallion to my surprise I find that the finest Australian Rules club in the country has its members medallions made in China, now I know everything seems to be made in China these days but it is still a sad state of affairs when a country with all the latest technologies can not produce something as simple as a medallion.

I sincerely hope that the club has exhausted all options in Australia and is not just going for the cheap option with China.
    cheers Ian

You will probably find that there are no badge makers left in this country who can produce the quantity required for a minimal price.

Most of the Swans merchandise is made in China. However the premiership scarves were made here hence the $40 price tag.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

The premiership scarves are excellent very high quality and one of my most prized possessions, still a bit sad though that we have to go overseas for most of our merchandise.

I think most Australian demand price over quality.

        Although I would prefer not.

Dont worry team, the most important thing is made here look under the tag of your guernsey.... MADE IN AUSTRALIA

And I just checked my Hertige Round guernsey and that is made here too.
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?
