    Swans vs Lions- Rd 6

Advice anyone? Have just booked flights to Brisbane for the game and wondering if anyone knew of any good places to stay? We're gonna fly up Sat and come home Monday. Also, what is the best way to get tickets to the game? Just through ticketek or can we org tix throught the Syd office?

There is often a small group who go up for this game and organise tix to sit behind the goals through the club. Would recommend that approach if you want to be sure of sitting with other swans fans.

Can't help with accommodation tips though, sorry.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Thanks Mike. Looks like we're getting a nice little group together for our weekend. Introducing some friends from up north to the game so should be good to get them excited about the Swannies.

It depends on your expectations. There are couple of cheap but nasty motels ideally placed between the Gabba and the Pineapple hotel. (the Pineapple is our unofficial meeting place) Classier places are a long hike or a taxi ride away. Suggest you look up yellow pages online for accomodation in Kangaroo Point and Wollongabba.

I can usually get a good deal with Quest apartments through work, just depends if they have any rooms free or not. I think they have one really close to the GABBA. Will check it out tomorrow.

As we're having some birthday celebrations on the Sat night we might look for somewhere close to a good bar or club then trek it over to the ground on Sunday arvo.

          Thanks for the help.
