That wood be a footy book, not the record, Ruckman, surely.

          Re: AFL Record

The phrase footy record is a little over used, there's the somewhat pointless magazine that you my father still buys at the ground every match. then there's "The AFL Record Guide to Season 2006" edited by Michael Lovett and published by Geoff Slattery Publishing Pty Ltd, which contains a lot of facts in it's 852 paperback pages (ISBN 0-9757964-0-2) which is what I mistakenly thought Lucky Knickers was referring to.

          Better "goswannie14"?

Nope I think she was refering to the "Record" as sold at games

You may see the term as over used, but it is the name of the weekly magazine sold at games. It has been for many many years.

Well they claim to be giving you more (match day liftout of 32 pages compared to the old 16), and amazingly the price is unchanged! When reading through all the changes they'd made, I was expecting a nice price hike again, but was pleasantly surprised.

                          I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I wanted the REVAMPED game-day reCORD.

                            Shirley I can get it?

Thanks Ruckman for the Foody Book - I am going to pop down to the Borders and check it out...

The Record is the name of the weekly Catholic magazine in Perth - I always thought it was funny that the Victorians called their game day mag the Record as it seemed the closest thing to religion they had.
