    Monty: "What's that noise?!"

    Do I hear footsteps?

    Pathetic.

Third qtr, missed a mark he should have taken, goal to Lucas, big momentum swing.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Footsteps? Hmmm. Don't listen to everything Quarterbrain says. IMO it was the classic case of slips catching, fingers up or fingers down? He got stuck in between. His left hand went fingers up and his right hand went fingers down. It was the indecision of how to take the mark that caused the spill.

Costly, it was, I cursed at it. The first quarter cobwebs and armchair ride for Lloyd's playacting needs a review more than kickout and set shot rules. Christ.

If Plugger got the frees Lloyd does, he'd have kicked 2000 goals.

It wasn't his finest moment in the R'n'W but he probably made up for it by stopping a 'certain' Lovett goal later in the game.

Watc it again. He dropped his head and shut his eyes. Footsteps indeed.

It looked like footsteps to me, dissapointing (considering he had the courage to take someone out late earlier in the game to give away a downfield kick) but it happens. Amon isn't too much of a serial squib and, as Liz said, he did try to make ammends.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Better to get it out in the first game of the year than do it in a final. I'm sure he is plenty embarrassed and will work hard all season to amend.

What was the resulting free-kick to Lucas for?
10 never showed the whole incident again--only the dropped catch.

Taken high or held too long, I can't remember.

Appeared that LRT took Lucas too high. Pretty soft free kick.

Did the same in the last marking contest in the GF.

time to put the blinkers on him. There were a few other costly 2 on 1 situations where we stuffed it up and the single bomber eventually won the contest.
