      "All the criticism was unfair," Barry Roberts-Thomson says. "It was because people didn't know his background. The great positive was that the coaches knew his potential."
      A lot of the criticism was directed at the coaching staff (for persistent selection) and the structure the Swans had (reserves playing in a competition where the feeling was a KP back could not further develop his game) than just at Lewis himself.

      Most of my feelings for last year around the issue are closely tied to the clubs treatment of Andrew Schauble more than directly tied to the run Lewis was given. Andrew was a club champion at CHB and, I believe, still had something to offer at AFL level. He was given one half of a game in a call up to the seniors, was beaten by Lance and then sent back to Canberra.

          On the weekend it seemed that many Swans players were hoping to emulate LRT's 2005.

              He's played a lot better since I had a chat with him, after the Hawks Rnd 22 game last year.
