But what do you think of the red changing so dramatically over the years?

I love the red vee for heritage round matches and special occasions, maybe even some melbourne away games. I understand the inclination to keep the South Melb roots, but I also like to see us representing Sydney and NSW all over the country.


I just hope they never go down the Rugby League road of each team having 3 or 4 totally different strips, you fairdinkum don't know who's playing sometimes and a commited fan who likes to wear the colours to games would need to mortgage the farm. It's awful to see kids wearing a jumper that looks nothing like the ones their heros are wearing, which is the reason they wanted it in the first place.

I like the striped socks and generally, until this year we have a good record when wearing them.
