      LMAO!
You didn't even watch the game msb and you're telling people to chill out. Bas was just frustrated about the performance (and rightfully so IMO) like all of us, but we will move on.

All this reminds me of a little story.....

back in 90 something I was living in Adelaide and went to watch a Crows v Fitzroy game, with about 7 -8 mins to go the Crows were about 18 odd points down and losing interest by the second decided to leave early due to the nightmare which is the footy park carpark.

Well we arrived at the car and my mates remote alarm switch had a flat battery and we couldnt get into the car, the game finished and everyone was walking past us and I thought it strange all the crows supporters were really upbeat.

One guy stopped to ask us if we needed a hand (as we were trying to break into the car and had set the alarm off) anyway he went on to tell us the Rod Jameson story and one the Crows most famous victories...the moral of this story.......

I wouldn't write them off just yet. Port Adelaide lost their first two matches in 2002 and they wound up as the minor premiers so it could (and hope it does) happen to the Swans this season.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

We are talking about the Swans here guys

They look tired and slow and disinterested at the moment

Some of the guys in the team looked as if they did not want to be there and I think Williams is one of them

I think that he should retire and give one of the younger guys a go

What has happened to guys like Willoughby and Tim Schmidt ?

Why are they still in the seconds ?

I think the Swans don't play enough of their young guns so how can they become premiership players and have the experience if they are not given a go

The Swans did the same thing in 96. I'll reserve judgment, but if Season 2006 had just concluded, then yes, I would have said they were duds, but they have another 20 games at least to more than make up for the first 2 this year.

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

It's been really funny reading the comments of some posters here. The old "?'m a bigger supporter than you are syndrome"seems very rife.

First, Sundays team was NOT the Premiership team. It was The 2006 Rd 2 team.

It's Sydney Swans not South Melbourne if you hadn't noticed.

Apart from being a Swans Member since 96, I'm also a FuLL AFL member as well. That's right, a Sydney born and raised full AFL member. Still think I'm fickle. I'm being very polite not to refer to anyone specifically, as a turkey, moron or loser.

I wrote that I left at 3/4 time because I knew it would bring out ? wave of abuse. Thank you to those that defended my comments. If I choose to leave at 3/4 time then it's MY business.

I was disaapointed at the pathetic performance but if you read my post PROPERLY you would realise that there isn't anything fickle about it.

I have stayed to the end of many games when the Swans have been flogged over the years. Sunday, I had my 4 year old son with me and left early apart from my disgust.

Roos didn't go out at 1/4 time and ask the players "who needs a hug boys?"Did he? Didn't look like that through my binoculars.

Anyway, criticize as much as you like, as I will continue watching the Swans from my premium Brewongle Stand seat, whilst sipping my chardonnay and enjoying the snack bars canapes.

Get a life boys, there is more to life than football and if you can't tell the difference, get some therapy.

So does anyone have suggestions for the team as to what to do to motivate yourself once you have reached the top of the mountain?

Right on brother. A couple of losses and they attack the boys who were heroes last September. They will come good and become heroes again. They have suddenly not lost their ability, heart and passsion. Encourage them and don't rubbish them. Recall how we felt at fulltime in the GF and give our boys a break. Go the bloods.
