You get canapes in the Brewongle premium levels? Reckon you could smuggle some round to the Noble stand at 1/4 time?

I bet those who left the Geelong final early were a bit sick...

They didn't have any meat pies, would you believe it. Beers are now $5.00 a cup, $4.40 for hot dogs and $4.00 for chips!. I think the thermos filled with a good red will become the norm from now on!

WE should all boycott the snack bars at the SCG!!!

I will leave a game when I feel like it ... This is a democracy ... I have a choice ... and I don't fear (any) of you that tell me that it is a sin of the highest order and doesn't make me a 'true" supporter - This is a democracy, I choose to totally ignore you - because I can - and because I know better - YOU can believe what YOU like - That's the beauty of it !!!

On another note, we lost 7 games last year and we are the Premiers ... we've so far lost 2 ... And I still read every newspaper article with a smile on my face - Because it is written that the "Reigning Premiers" were beaten again ... I will worry about this great side a bit later in the year - I am still riding high on the Premiership ...

            Because I can ...

              Yay Frog.

If people are going to make up rules about what is a true supporter or true lover of the game, then we all make up our own rules, like you are not a true lover of the game if you don't watch at least 4 games per week, you are not a true fan if you've never seen us take the wooden spoon, you are not a true fan blah blah crap crap...

Don't think I have ever left a game early other than 2 or 3 minutes before the final siren if we are not in a position to win just to get a jump on the main crowd.

There is always plenty of interest in a game, such as how the team and individual players cope with being in a position of nothing to play for other than percentage or to watch players who might be played out of position to see how they handle the situation.

Not that I ever have, but especially after the Geelong semi final last year, I'll be too scared to ever leave a game early.

I still believe that the Swans needed a good trashing as a wake up call. On Sunday they got away with it, because Port was happy with the result and took foot of the pedal.
Me and my friends wished for a good trashing after that woefull display on the field. Do we need to wait for that until the game with Geelong at Telstra Stadium? This round against the Blues will tell the tail and I won't predict the outcome.

Well we arrived at the car and my mates remote alarm switch had a flat battery and we couldnt get into the car, the game finished and everyone was walking past us and I thought it strange all the crows supporters were really upbeat.

One guy stopped to ask us if we needed a hand (as we were trying to break into the car and had set the alarm off) anyway he went on to tell us the Rod Jameson story and one the Crows most famous victories...the moral of this story.......

The moral of the story is that just like the Swans crowd here the Crows have lots of supporters who NEVER set foot in an SANFL ground in their lives, yet suddenly become experts on footy all of a sudden. The Eagles crowd in WA is very very similar. People getting up & leaving when they are winning in the last quarter, people telling others to be quiet & stop barracking, people bagging the @@@@ out of the team & players after one loss.

I heard stories of the Crows losing to Fitzroy at Footy Park one night (maybe that evening Wazza) and having the whole members area of AAMI Stadium stand up and clap THE ROYS off.

I love modern day football I swear.

I dont understand the point you are trying to make in yiur first para. Do you think that there needs to be some type of qualification to be a Swans supporter? Such as?

I think your comments re Crows supporters are complete and utter garbage that you've heard from some feral scum Port supporter. How gullible.

JF, you may need to get the full story, I have a feeling that may have been in Fitzroys last season before they merged with Brisbane, if that is the case, then the applause was completely understandable.

Fitzroy only beat Freo in their last season. Might of been the 94 or 95 season which saw a famous Fitzroy win at Footy Park and the Members gave the Roys, the send off discribed above.
