    Under Dogs

We have thrived as under dogs over the past decade. Can we regain that tag by tanking our first couple of games?

Is our early sean form just a Roos rouse(Sp)?

As I said in the other thread, it's a bit hard to take advantage of being the underdog when you are the reigning premiers.

I find it interesting that in 2003 we were generally regarded as a potential wooden spooner and underrated by everyone. We took advantage of that and surprised everyone and did really well.

In 2004 we still weren't highly regarded but people no longer ignore us and planned how to beat us. We struggled through with some ugly tough football but ultimately we were a long way off the pace in the finals.

In 2005 we were again written off and we benefitted from being a true underdog.

In 2006 it feels like 2004 again.
