We miss the Irish - Swans MVP

After watching the Swans last two games, I believe that our backline is woeful simply because we miss the Irish's attacking, direct, fast and penetrating runs out of defence.

Upon the return of Kennelly from his at present permanent 2-3 week shoulder injury, the backline will straighten up and deliver the ball better to our forward line - which is struggling for decent lace out precise passes due to the pressure exerted from the opposition and the lack of skill level from the current defence and midfield.

I believe Kennelly is our MVP - along with BBB Hall - and the Swans stocks will marketedly improve upon his return.

When is his bl**y return anyway, I thought it was supposed to be Round 2 or 3 ??!!! I hope his injury isn't an injury a la O'Loughlin's knee and hammy's over the years where it lingers for 8-9 weeks instead of the initial forecast of 4-5 weeks for Kennelly's shoulder.....

Oui, don't we all miss him.
I'm guessing he'll be back next week to be on field with Carlton's Irish. This'll be fun.

PS: the current injury list up is of April 3rd, not this week.

He is a fantastic player, but I wouldn't consider him the Michael Jordan off the Swans though.

But, yes I look forward to seeing him back in the team.

No Treadrea, Francou and Wanganeen and Port hammered us. As much as I have considered this possibility, if we can't win without Tiger, then we have a BIG BIG problem with depth?

In all due respect to all AFL players at the 16 clubs, I don't think any player is the Michael Jordan of their team.

However, Kennelly is a very important player to the Swans set-up and more like a Scotty Pippen type to the Swans.....

Does this mean Paul Chambers is our Luc Longley?
