    What's the bet............

this weeks game against the Blues will be a super tight, super low scoring affair.

During our periods of poor form in previous years the first step to getting out of it is to play a few super accountable games, tight, man on man, but because of the poor form, completely devoid of risk taking and running play.

That's what the first half will be like at the very least.

But will the umpire's interpretation of the new rules allow it?

Last year's game v Carlton came off the back of our worst performance for the season against St Kilda and was anything but super tight and super low scoring...

That's a good point and presents a bit of a danger. You can imagine the team going for that tried and true method only to discover that the umpires jump on it and we give free kicks away. This leaves the teams rattled and the opposition jump away to a solid lead. I think there have been elements of that at times in the first two games.

Can't be Leo - he's obviously Target Example #1 for the umpires to enforce the new rules. I'd try LRT, looks sharp and he's got the speed and endurance to spoil.

Not as much as they love 'Diver' Lloyd: 104 games, 83 Frees For, 97 Frees Against

I'm sure the umpires will fix up that imbalance come Saturday night.

It was a turning point in our season. Will history repeat?

LRT is tailor made for Waite.

Bolton, Richards or Barry can take turns on Fevola. I'd start Bolton on him because Fev likes to run around a bit and Bolton has the tank to stay with him, and possibly even run him around a bit.

It will be interesting to see whether they put Whitnall on Hall or play him as a loose man.

I think the turning point was smashing an understrength Geelong in rd 15.

What's the bet that if we don't win the 'prems vs spooners' match, the media will pound the team even more..
