    Roos public persona

is starting to erk me a little bit.

It started with some of his comments about Sydney junior footy last year.

There's the constant Swans vs. the AFL thing which no doubt has a bit of substance but is getting tiresome but will no doubt play further with this doco on Sat. night.

Now this Walls thing. Walls like a lot of commentators started out well but reached his used by date a fews years back. Anything that comes out of mouth needs to be taken with a grain of salt. So why Roos continues with the silent treatment is a little beyond me. Why not ring him up, tell him he's a goose, point to the scoreboard and move on.

Sometimes someone says something you can't forgive. A friend of mine gave Kylie the "singing budgie" tag and that still rankles, apparently.

I guess Roos thought his friend and mentor Walls saying that he was coaching the team to mediocrity to keep his job while he was telling the players to be selfless went beyond forgivable.

      "irk"

Maybe it's because he's so arrogant.

Last time i checked, being an AFL coach didn't stop you from being a person as well?

Perhaps the fact that a former 'clubmate' ripped it up him about his day to day job on national television probably doesn't sit so hot with him?

He can do whatever he wants, he still continues to represent the club very well and thats all that matters really. He is his own man and will make decisions about things like that, that are above contesting as far as i'm concerned.

But thats just what i think!

After a good night out I have been known to laugh at the Ground, and run into Doors and Walls.

Only they know how deep the friendship ran, and therefore how important each others' opinion of the other matters. Roos is being very obstinate about it all, but then I dont hear Walls coming out and saying: "Look I was wrong and made a stupid comment. Paul coached his team to a premiership, and I apologise for my comments."

It seems AFL players/coaches/commentators/administrators struggle with the word "sorry"!
