    Rule Changes

Very interesting article up here in Brisvegas by a northern afl code supporter and one of the country's best ever 400m runners in Rick Mitchell. Why does the AFL constantly make these changes when the game is going so well.

I know its been discussed in some detail our apparent lack of adaption to them but why should we in the 1st place.

Mod edit: Please don't reproduce whole articles. If you can find a link, post that instead.

I don't think we needed new rules. The quick kick-in can be used to effect and I can live with it. The thing that irks me is the unequal application of the rules, especially HTB.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Rule changes should only be considered to the benefit of
the game. Out on the full was a good call IMHO. One rule I
would like added is the play on call for kicking the ball
      backwards.
